is the artistic director of Theatre 167.  Over the past three years, she conceived and directed the Jackson Heights Trilogy: 167 Tongues, You Are Now The Owner Of This Suitcase, and Jackson Heights 3AM.) These multi-writer plays inspired by the most culturally diverse neighborhood in the world have been seen at Theatre 167, Queens Theatre, Jackson Rep, LaGuardia Performing Arts Center and The Neighborhood Playhouse. 

Other NYC new plays include The Golden Aurora (NYC Fringe), Double Vision (NYC Fringe Encores), Memory Play (w/ Eli Wallach), Trip(Jig Cook Award,) 2Gether (a multi-writer urban drama inspired by a love note found on the New York City subway.)  Musical theatre credits include European premiere of Adam Guettel’s Myths and Hymns, Violet, Dreamhouse (also co-creator) and many family theatre musicals. Ari was the founding artistic director of California’s Theatre Zoe, where she received three Civic Arts Commission Fellowships and directed over 20 regional and world premieres. Regional/International: Stamford Fringe, Edinburgh Fringe, Lycian Centre Theatre, Jackson Repertory Theatre and Henlopen Theatre Project. Member: SDC, Lincoln Center Directors Lab.
